GCI 10
Large-cap core
The ten largest eligible digital assets — a concentrated core benchmark.

GCI — Global Crypto Index
GCI 50 tracks 50 eligible, large and actively traded digital assets in one USD-denominated basket price.
Instead of following assets one by one, you can follow a single figure that shows how a broad segment of the digital asset market is moving. GCI builds that figure from published rules, so anyone can see how it is calculated.
A single reading that summarises how the broader crypto market is doing today.
Selection applies published size, liquidity, asset-type and data-quality rules — not rank alone.
Four times a year the list is reviewed and refreshed — that review is called a rebalance.
GCI 50 Price (USD)
A US dollar price for one normalized basket of the 50 assets. GCI 50 is a benchmark, not an investment product.

Why it matters
Broad equity indices help summarize groups of securities. GCI 50 applies a rules-based basket approach to eligible digital assets. GCI is independent and is not affiliated with or endorsed by any other index provider.
Bitcoin is only part of the story. GCI 50 shows how a wider set of eligible digital assets is performing together.
Comparable prices under the same methodology version make performance over time easier to assess.
Grouping assets into categories shows whether the move is coming from payments, smart-contract platforms, AI-related projects or elsewhere.
For professionals
The GCI 50 is designed to represent an eligible universe of crypto-native digital assets. Eligible assets must satisfy minimum market-capitalisation and liquidity thresholds and trade on venues that meet GCI's exchange quality standards.
Constituents are weighted by free-float adjusted market capitalisation, subject to a single-asset cap that limits concentration in the largest assets. Stablecoins are excluded from the price-return benchmark. The index reconstitutes quarterly under a published rules framework, with provisions for extraordinary events.
