Assets that pass published size, liquidity, asset-type and data-quality rules. Selection is not based on size alone.
How often it changes
The price updates as constituent prices move. The list of 50 assets is reviewed every three months — that review is called a rebalance.

Plain-English answers about what GCI 50 is — and what it is not.
- Can I buy GCI 50?
- No. GCI 50 is a benchmark, not an investment product, fund or token. Nothing here is investment advice.
- Is GCI 50 the price of 50 coins added together?
- No. At each scheduled rebalance the methodology fixes a quantity of each asset — a reference basket. The published GCI 50 price is the US dollar value of that basket divided by a fixed scaling number, so the quote stays in a readable range. Between rebalances the price moves only because the constituents' dollar prices move. GCI holds none of these assets.
- How are the 50 assets chosen?
- Published eligibility rules cover size, liquidity, trading history, asset type and data quality. Stablecoins and other excluded categories do not qualify. Selection is not simply a list of the 50 largest assets.
- How often does GCI 50 change?
- The price moves with the constituents' dollar prices. The list of 50 assets is reviewed every three months — in March, June, September and December — and assets can be removed sooner if something extraordinary happens, such as a delisting.
